===2014-07-14 JERUSALEM: Israeli photojournalist is recovering from attack by Israel Police===
Israel Police tried to prevent photojournalists from covering police violence against Arabs in the July 2 demonstrations that followed the kidnapping murder of an Arab youth. Tali Mayer is recovering in the hospital from fractures to her jaws, deep cuts in her face, caused by Israeli Police brutality, which required a 4 hour corrective surgery. In the same incident, near the Nablius Gate in the old city of Jerusalem, Israel Police also used blast granades against photojournalists. As one journalist put it:"Anybody, who carried a camera, was targeted."
