After supporting the junta in Argentina, the US is now trying for the secon time in 15 years to cause collapse of the Argentinian economy. A few weeks ago, a US federal court purported to have jurisdiction in the matter of restructuring Argenitna's debt to a US hedge fund. Given the vast corruption of the US courts, particularlly in matters involving banking, such claims by the US are ludicrous.
In his book "Globalization and its Discontent", US professor, Economics Nobel prize winner Joseph Stieglitz raised the claim that Stanley Fischer, acting as a senior officer of the IMF, deliberately caused the collapse of the Argentinian economy in 2001 as well...
