The case appears more and more like the PM Rabin assassination - where Shin Bet initially tried to hide the fact that the leader of the underground cell, to which the assassin belonged, was an on the payroll, undercover Shin Bet agent.
However, in the Rabin assassination, the Shin Bet agent was not present on location at the time of the assassination.
According to Silverstein, in the Dawabsha family murders, the Shin Bet agent was involved in the conspiracy, was present on location at the time of the arson, but did not commit the throwing of the fire bombs on the family home.
