2015-09-17 US under the Greater Depression - all eyes on Fed's interest rate decision tonight...
========================
As if it matters... People are still in denial... This is not a recession, this is a DEPRESSION. And a quarter percent hike would make the analysts start fake clamouring that it's over... Here is the Guardian on this matter:
"For context, the last time the Fed raised rates, in 2006, no one would have tweeted their decision – there was no Twitter. For that matter, smartphones were still nearly a year away. The Fed’s decision to keep lending rates at nearly zero for almost seven years, in the aftermath of the financial crisis and the recession that followed, did the job: it helped save the US economy from collapse."
The charts clearly show that long period of near zero, flat interest rates, has not been observed in almost a century - since the Great Depression..
