I haven't worked for a living some 10 years, and I consider myself a loafer, as a matter of conviction... :)
a) Last month, Marianne Azizi, Brit activist conducted a video interview with me. The quality is abysmal, I look like suffering from advanced senility, and the content is between boring and numbing... within 2 hours there were 600 views.... go figure... :)
b) In November 2015 I completed a long term project of publishing "The Mill of Life" by Yitzhaq Shami (1888-1949) - I own the rights. By December 2015 it won the "Masterpiece book Prize" from 2015 by the Ministry of Culture... and it was accompanied by a print and TV media festival...
However, already in 2004, the author was recognized by the Palestinians as one of the important writers of the 20th century, through the influence of the late Mahmoud Darwish, with who I was in contact.
c) In 2015 I lectured in 2 international computer science conferences - in Zurich, Switzerland and in Portsmouth, UK. After the first one, I was approached by the Turkish National Security Academy, who expressed interest in having my lecture there as well....:)
d) In 2015, TV crews of Israel Broadcasting Authority "Mabat" Evening News (that the official government propaganda channel, no kidding...:)) came twice to interview me in the OccupyTLV camp. The first time, they told me after 2 min to shut up, since it would be too much work to erase what I say, and they want to use me only as a background... The second time the pretended to conduct an interview (never mind their nonsensical questions), but at the end, they deleted practically everything I said, and focused instead on the question: Why would anybody, who lives in a tent for years, keep a collection of suits and fancy silk ties?
