ISRAEL: Open season on opponents of the occupation of Palestine- the case of NASSER NAWAJ'AH
========================
Nasser is a resident of the Palestinian Bedouin tiny community of Susya, which was the subject of sepcial abuse in recent years. Nasser was working with Israeli Human Rights NGOs, documenting by photos and video the abuse in Susya. He was subjected to violence before. However, this week, Israeli Police arrested him for no clear charges. He was brought to the Jerusalem Magistrate Court (Israeli jurisdiction, while he is a Palestinian). The court ordered his release. Police continued to hold him and filed an appeal to the Jerusalem District Court (again - Israeli jurisdiction). The court again ordered his release. Then Israeli authorities moved him to an IDF military detention facility in Palestine and brought him before a military tribunal, with no counsel representation. The military tribunal expressed it "unease" from the chain of events, explained to it by Nasser himself, and yet extended Nasser's detention, now in IDF facility in Palestine.

All comments are welcome... especially any tips regarding corruption of the courts in Los Angeles. Anonymous tips are fine. One simple way to do it is from internet cafes, etc.
