Following recent correspondence, pertaining to government IT systems in Israel, Prof Eli Biham was asked to hold a public symposium on E-Government in Israel, securing its integrity, and its significance to the nature of the regime. There is no doubt that such are very appropriate academic topics for the new research center. Prof Biham's response reflects prevailing conditions - senior members of the intelligentsia are mostly full partners in the unannounced regime change, resulting from large-scale fraud in e-government in Israel. OccupyTLV, September 12 - Prof Eli Biham, Head of the new Technion Cyber Security Research Center, has been asked today to hold a public symposium on E-government in Israel, methods to secure its integrity, and its significance to the nature of the regime.
As initial proposal for debaters in such proposal, the following name were suggested:
* Prof Uzzi Ornan - CS, Technion
* Prof Danny Dolev - Head of the Cyber Research Center, Hebrew University
* Prof Asa Kasher - expert on professional ethics and government
* Prof Daniel Friedman - Law School, Tel-Aviv University, former Minister of Jusice
* Prof Mota Kremnitzer - Law School, Hebrew University, Israel Democracy Institute
* Prof Omer Reingold - Weizmann Institute
In his response (translated below) Prof Eli Biham says: "... your current letter is imporoper, and will not be addressed."
Prof Biham's response reflects prevailing conditions, which were described already in my report to the UN Human Rights Coucil in 2013 - senior members of the intelligentsia are mostly full partners in the unannounced regime change, resulting from large-scale fraud in e-government in Israel. The Technion, as an academic institution, performs an "improper" role in a civil society...

Dear Prof Biham:
First, most likely you should be deemed misrepresenting and/or deliberately withholding major part of the content of our discussion, in your writing below.
Second, your response confirms the circumstances, which I described already in my submission to the UN Human Rights Council for the 2013 Universal Periodic Review of Human Rights in Israel: The academia and the intelligentsia in Israel is mostly partnering in the unannounced regime change, which was executed through large-scale fraud on the public in e-government over the past decade.
The UN Human Rights Council Professional Review Report on Human Rights in Israel (2013) incorporated my submission, and summed it as follows: "Lack of integrity in the electronic record systems of the Supreme Court, the district courts and the detainees' courts in Israel".
The Center, which you head, and the Technion now appear as full partners in this matter - an "improper" role for academicians and an academic institution in a civil society...
Truly,

Dear Dr Zernik,
As a reminder, our discussion is about my removal from your distribution list, and the degrading response, which you distributed about me in response on my requests.
Regardless of my numerous requests to remove me from your distribution list, and regardless of the extensive correspondence, which we held regarding my requests, you have still failed to confirm removal. Also, you have not publicly apologized yet regarding your degrading response, which you sent to your distribution list regarding my requests, which accused me of threatening you, which never happened.
Under the circumstances, your present letter is improper, and will not be addressed at all.
I repeat my demand for my removal from your distribution list, and a public apology for your response on it.
Truly,
Eli

Prof Eli Biham, Technion CS Dept, demands not to receive notices of e-gov fraud in Israel
Following a threatening response, Prof Eli Biham is asked to clarify:Why is it not the public duty of CS professors to voice their opinion in view of serious fraud in government IT systems in Israel? A number of senior CS professors in Israel voiced their opinions privately. However, to this date, Prof Uzzi Ornan (also from the Technion CS Department) is the only one who openly voiced his opinion on the matter.
