US law schools faculty members finally waking up!
Previous protests were mostly by individual law professors. The two new letters show that US law school faculty members are finally finding their voice!

Previous protests were mostly by individual law professors. (see quotes below)
In view of the widespread corruption of the US justice system, there are quite a few subjects that could be protested, but the above two letters show that US law school faculty members are finally finding their voice!

What is unprecedented to me is their silence over Obama's ineligibility and the devastation to our Constitution. Protecting human rights as a matter of ethics is essential in our society, but with a properly installed and respected constitution in place there would be no human rights violations.
ReplyDeleteAm I being naive? (USA)
There were more than a few outrageous issues on which they should have spoken up, but they remained silent...
ReplyDeleteFinally, let's hope that they are finding their voice...

ALL the original vids that Manning put out on the web have been either edited or toned down. Nolonger can we see in the clip the private on the ground lifting the Camera and claim to the pilot that he found an RPG round on one of the dead.
ReplyDeleteThis is how corrupt things are. Even the vid with the proof is tampered with. Go try and find the original vid..
What reports to be the original is all you can find with google. So even google are in on this?
Where is the original vid.?
These guys are going to roast in electric chairs when people find out. Manning was betrayed by his own people

Not sure what you are talking about. Please try to explain clearly the basic facts you are referring to.

I went looking for this vid in it entirety not so long ago. What i found was a Julian hassan version - presumably faked. But the important parts have been edited out - so what people see when they look up the Collateral vid is an edited down version.
ReplyDeleteNot the original.
In the original you can quite easily make out that the ground troops were colluding with the apache pilots.
Instead of reporting to the pilots that indeed they picked up a camera belonging to the photographer. The guy on the ground says yeah its eh, an RPG round.
so as nobody would get in trouble for the massacre - Which is why MAnning leaked it. But not one person either watched the whole vid or recognised the importance of why manning released it.
MAnning was doing what any human being would do - not only was he outting the facts but he was obviously seeing this same stuff day in day out if he took the risk to out it.
His countrymen betrayed him, support the troops? is that what it is.. what poppicockness ..

It sounds strange that they would be able to completely eliminate from the internet a video that was so widely reported...
ReplyDeleteAre you sure it can found nowhere?

Are the videos at the links below edited?

holy shit yeah, as far as I remember it was 18 minutes long. Now you've got me on this mission again - but i guess manning is worth it. cause i thought that was just a given with the footage.
ReplyDeleteloads missing from first clip from guardian. you see troops moving in on the location and all.
in the second link collateral murder 39minutes long clip - the second vid is the one - At 19:20-19:27 minutes in the guy on the ground reports an RPG round - if you watch the clip closely from 17:00 onwards you'll see the troop on the ground discovering the camera/RPG round
At 18:00 three points enter behind the bradleys
18:24 you hear in the background, "we're monitoring."
19:20 - "this is four", "i got one individual with an RPG round." These were all reporters, or friends. It wasn't an RPG round.

btw I spent the last two hours making sure the clip hadn't been tampered with by watching the seconds on the camera, verses a stop watch. How incredibly nerdy is that.
ReplyDeleteI maybe imagined a camera being lifted, or maybe it is in there, either way i couldn't see that exact footage. But the point is that they didn't find an RPG round, but they said they did.
And this was just one occassion.
And thats what Manning was trying to say.
