Please join the struggle to safeguard the basic Human Rights of Bradley Manning.
Bradley Manning is accused to leaking US government records to Wikileaks. In the meanwhile he has been held under conditions that are widely seen as torture. Please email your protest to Lt. Col Anne Edgecomb, Office of Public Affairs, Office of the Secretary of the Army, Alayne.conway at us.army.mil
The ongoing abuse of Bradley Manning has been repeatedly criticized, not only by the international community, but also by leading legal scholars in the United States and senior administration officials. Many more admire his conduct - exposing blatant war crimes - and providing the US citizens information their own government was misleadingly denying them.

Subject: Allow the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Torture Juan Mendez an unmonitored visit with Bradley Manning.
Lt. Col Anne Edgecomb
Office of Public Affairs,
Office of the Secretary of the Army
Dear Lt Col Edgecomb:
I write to request that the Army allow the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Torture Juan Mendez an unmonitored visit with Bradley Manning.
The treatment of Bradley Manning is carefully watched by people around the world, and refusing an unmonitored visit by Mr Mendez with Bradley Manning and other detainees, further diminishes any standing the US may have had regarding compliance with fundamental Human Rights.
Truly,
Joseph Zernik, PhD

All comments are welcome... especially any tips regarding corruption of the courts in Los Angeles. Anonymous tips are fine. One simple way to do it is from internet cafes, etc.
