A New York City police officer charged in a plot to kidnap, rape, cook and eat women wrote in February that he was planning to get “some girl meat” for Thanksgiving, prosecutors revealed in court on Tuesday “It’s a long way off but I am getting the plan in motion now,” the officer, Gilberto Valle, was quoted as saying.
During the hearing, in Federal District Court in Manhattan, a judge refused to grant the officer bail, saying his conduct had been “depraved, bizarre, aberrational” and entirely unexplained, “particularly for someone who is a law enforcement officer.”
