In an expose' in Yediot Weekend magazine, former Shin Bet agent "Shaul"claims:
- that two of the murderers in 1993 shooting of three Palestinian laborers - Saadi Abd Al Muhdi Patpata (38) his brother Muhammad (35) and their cousin Ishaq Patpata (33) from Tarkumiyeh near Hebron - were Shin Bet agents, and therefore, no action was taken against them.
- that all Jewish terror actions at that time required approval by a rabbi, and at times rabbis also initiated terror actions.
"Champagne" was the Shin-Bet agent -provocateur in the Rabin assassination.
