11-06-24 Time Magazine - 4th of July issue... Does the Constitution Still Matter?

G:  I simply don't get what you are upset about.

Are you suggesting that Time magazine is "far left"?  Or is it some claim by Stengel that you consider "far left"?
  • Regarding the question itself: "Does the US Constitution still matter?"  It is obviously a very relevant today.  My opinion is that it matters very little, as evidenced in too many ways to detail. [i]
  • Regarding the image, which may have upset you:  It is all about selling more copies of the issue... And it surely falls within Free Speech.
  • Regarding the essay by Stengel: I find it a typical Time magazine lollypop.  "Today's debates represent conflict, not crisis."  My opinion is that the legal foundation of the US government in the US Constitution is in a crisis that has never been seen at least since the Civil War.
