With the onset of the Medieval-Digital Era (2000 - ), the US simultaneously conducted the 100 year "War on Drugs", and the 150 year "War on Terror', where the definition of the enemies was notoriously nebulous, but politically expedient. Numerous local confrontations were manipulated at the same time world-wide, through electronic means alone (including drones), or also by troops on the ground. In such wars, the United State could be found simultaneously, or over time, supporting opposing parties.
Such military expeditions were required to maintain US influence in places, where sheer economic power had been previously sufficient to maintain dominance.
To completely circumvent international law and the oversight by the US Congress of the declaration of war, these wars were largely fought through mercenary corporate armies, not wearing US uniform, and not directly subservient to US authorities.
US authorities considered themselves unaccountable for the mercenaries' conduct. And yet, such mercenaries were protected by the US government against prosecution by local authorities, even when caught killing locals.
Confrontations of global nuclear powers, which had been previously predicted as scenarios, leading to a nuclear disaster, were played out repeatedly, starting with the Crimean War of 2014. By President Barack Obama's second term (2013-2017), the office of President of the the United States had long been vacant of a lawful occupant, loyal to the Constitution of the United States, as were the Supreme Court and much of the US Congress.
And thus, a cabal of usurpers, operating on behalf of a mighty banking-security industry complex, brought humanity to its annihilation, through a corrupt experiment in corporate self-regulation, and corporate personhood - providing corporations Free Speech and other Civil Rights protections. Such legal and judicial frauds were on par with the medieval indulgences, and yet they were perpetrated in an age, where most of humanity was literate, in contrast with the illiterate masses of the Middle Ages.

Today former US Treasury official, Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, spoke with King World News about the ongoing danger the world faces because of the crisis in Ukraine. Dr. Roberts warned “the very existence of the human race is on the line.” The interview ends with an ominous warning for the entire world. Dr. Roberts: “The Parliament in Crimea has voted to secede from Ukraine and return to Russia. The Crimean population is Russian and they don’t want anything to do with the American-orchestrated coup in western Ukraine. In 9 days there will be a referendum to see whether a majority of the people agree with this, and of course they will.
Now, there’s been no Russian invasion. That’s a lie coming directly out of Victoria Nuland’s State Department and it has spread all over the world….
