2014-07-19 Occupy Los Angeles: Keep the Internet free!

Wednesday, July 23rd, Los Angeles will rally to #SaveTheInternet and hold President Obama accountable to his campaign promises on #netneutrality.

Wednesday, July 23 from 4-7PM
Memorial Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library
4625 W. Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles CA 90019

On the campaign trail in 2007, candidate Obama visited Google headquarters in Silicon Valley and pledged to "take a back seat to no one" in his commitment to Net Neutrality. Since then he has appointed two FCC chairmen — Julius Genachowski and Tom Wheeler — who have failed to live up to the president's pledge. Obama will be in town for a big fundraiser and We, the People, want to get our message out. Show Your Support: Rally for Net Neutrality!

Wear orange and bring a big, bold sign to show your support for the open Internet. Arrive early to try and avoid street closures.

Help us grab the president's attention — RSVP today!
