Was former "Head of the Israeli FBI" Menashe Arbiv indicted? or wasn't he?
The Ministry of Justice is asked to disclose the court file number of the purported criminal prosecution of former Police Commander Menashe Arbiv, so that the public may ascertain the truth of news, which was published yesterday. This is continuation of one of the worst corruption scandals in the history of the State of Israel... The justice system is the crux of government corruption in Israel today...

_______

OccupyTLV, March 06 - inquiry has been forwarded to Spokesman of the Ministry of Justice, to disclose the court file number, under which "Indictment" was puportedly filed against former Police Commander Menashe Arbiv - "Head of the Isreali FBI".
Press release by the spokesman yesterday was accompanied by an "Indictment" which is not an authentic court record - unsigned, shows no court file number and no "Filed" stamp.
A similar previous incident involved "Indictment" of Mr Eitan Robb in the Tax Authority scandal. Following press release by Ministry of Justice spokesman, it was impossible to find the court file, or any details regarding progress of the prosecution...

Following is the complete inquiry, filed today with the Ministry of Justice:

Ministry of Justice

RE: Indictment of Police Commander Menashe Arbiv – request for discovery of court file number
Your response without any delay is kindly requested. Time is of the essence!

Dear Ms Oren:
Copied below is your office's press release, pertaining to indictment of former Police Commander Menashe Arbiv in one of the worst corruption scandals in the history of the State of Israel. However, the "Indictment" record, which was attached to the press release, is not an authentic court record - it is unsigned, fails to show a court file number, and fails to show a "Filed" stamp by the Court.
Net-HaMishpat, case management and public access system of the courts, does not allow the public to query the Index of All Files by party name – a patently invalid public access system.
Therefore, under the circumstances, there is no way for the public (or for media, to the best of my understanding) to check the facts in your press release. Such circumstances also stand contrary to "fair and public hearing".
A similar incident a few years ago pertained to the Tax Authority corruption scandal – again one of the worst corruption scandals in this history of the State of Israel.  Office of the Ministry of Justice Spokesman issued a press release stating that Mr Eitan Robb – former senior officer of the Tax Authority - was indicted, with no court file number. Later, I could never discover the court file number, neither could I find any reliable report of the outcome of the purported court process. When I inquired with the office of Ministry of Justice Spokesman a couple of years following the original press release, asking for the court file number and the state of Mr Robb's prosecution, I received no response at all.
Therefore, providing the court file number in the indictment of former Police Commander Menashe Arbiv would eliminate uncertainty and ambiguity in this important matter.
Truly,

The Kabbalist and AG Loretta Lynch

The Rabbi Josiah Pinto scandal is a gem of Israeli justice system corruption. The case involved the ouster of the head of "the Israeli FBI" in the midst of various high level government corruption investigations. Leaked AG Lynch letter and Israel Police investigation transcripts as well as a perverted, secretive court process indicate business as usual in the "only democracy in the middle-east".
