13-9-18 High levels of disagreement between the People and the US government on fundamental constitutional issues - a poll

Comparing the results of the poll below and the extreme conduct of the US government in violation of International Law in this matter, even at the risk of undermining its international relations in Latin America, Russia, and more, a reasonable person would conclude that there is a high level of disagreement between the People and the US government on fundamental constitutional issues!

A recent poll showed that 70% of people aged 18 to 34 thought Edward Snowden "did a good thing." Has the younger generation lost its moral compass?

10 Arrests in 87 Minutes: The Anatomy of the NYPD’s Protest Dispersal Process

Occupy Wall Street Anniversary from Paul Sullivan on Vimeo.
On the eve of the second anniversary of the Occupy movement, two video activists, have released a 10 minute short film providing perhaps the most detailed civilian account to date of the NYPD’s process of crowd dispersion during mass mobilizations. The video, shot on September 17th, 2012, during Occupy Wall Street’s first anniversary celebration action, details 10 arrests that took place over the span of 87 minutes. While at first glance many of the individual arrests appear to be arbitrary, careful analysis from the videographers illustrates a larger picture wherein the NYPD’s actions are calculated and designed to derail the protestors ability to effectively assemble.
This video is a powerful resource for activists of all stripes in New York City. Please watch it, share it, carefully examine the NYPD’s process in it, and use it to inoculate yourself from their coordinated attempts to stifle your first amendment protections.“On the eve of the second anniversary of OWS it bears remembering that the occupations didn’t simply fizzle and dissipate,” says Paul Sullivan, who videotaped the police response, “this video, shot last year on the morning of the first anniversary, not only reminds us of how difficult it is to protest when the NYPD is determined to shut you down, but also how the NYPD continues to supress civil liberties in order to stamp out the movement.”

13-09-18 The November 5 Million Mask March as a Global Index of Liberty

Inline image 1

Beyond the protest itself, the marches in various cities around the world on November 5, and police conduct during the marches, will present a clear Index of Liberty in various parts of the world today.

For example:
* I have no doubt that the march in Berlin will take place, and will proceed peacefully.
* I have no doubt that the march in Tel Aviv will take place, and I hope that it will proceed peacefully.
* I doubt that such march could take place in Los Angeles, New York, or DC, and if attempted, that it will end up peacefully.
* Under many other regimes around the world, the notion of such march is inconceivable.

Therefore, beyond government propaganda regarding Human Rights, November 5 will present a clear and unambiguous index of the state of Liberty in various nations today!
