Recently, I hosted a guy from East Ukraine. He, like many of his friends, left Ukraine to avoid the draft and the war. However, they cannot get a permanent visa anywhere, and end up drifting from ons country to another on temporary visas, subsisting on close to nothing, odd job where possible.
