OccupyTLV, Feb 17 - in recent days, Uriel, police affiliate, has been extremely busy. With help from his brother and in cooperation with Michal, he constructed a kitchen hall in the northern part of the park.
Today, he is busy trying to clean and improve a little bit the water trough and toilet area, which I have repeatedly protested as a health hazzard, built by the Tel Aviv Municipality, under the guise of a contractor.
In parallel, I hear that towards the end of February, visit by members of knesset is planned.
One wonders if media would again be swept away to portray the homeless and social protest people as participants in an amusement park.

In a nation, where total surveillance is not even questioned, organized crime is permitted to thrive, and the Shin Bet refused a "request" by the Prime Minister to fight organized crime.  The situation raises questions regarding the line of civilian authority over the Shin Bet, and patronizing of organized crime by it.

OccupyTLV, February 16, the assassination, part of gang war, executed yesterday, Saturday, midday, on the Tel Aviv promenade, is in this morning's headlines. [1]  

In a nation hijacked by a Shin Bet-Judiciary gang, where massive surveillance is not even questioned, crime families are permitted to thrive.  [2]  Even the US Ambassador raised concern over organized crime growth in the State of Israel, and its integration with State agencies. [3]

In a recent incident, Israeli media informed us, that after the November 2013 explosion under the State prosecutor's car, while he was working on the case of a crime family, PM Netanyahu asked the Shin-Bet to treat organized crime as "terror", and assist in the investigation.  The Shin Bet, Haaretz reported, "denied the request". [4]

Pursuant to Israeli law, the Shin Bet is directly under the authority of the PM. Therefore, the case raises questions regarding the effective line of civilian authority over the Shin Bet today. [2]

Moreover, it raises concerns that the Shin Bet is effectively patronizing the crime families in Israel.  Regarding the latter suspicion, enough is to read Ynet's biography of the slain in yesterday's gang war incident:

"Lala is a Palestinian, who 15 years ago received Israeli citizenship as part of "family unification", and moved in with family members in Jaffa,..  However, his father remained in Palestine. living today in Ramallah.  Several members of the family served over the years as Shin-Bet collaborators. [6]

"Family unification", of Palestinians with Israeli Arabs, even man and wife, is extremely difficult in Israel. The High Court of Justice denied two cases over the past decade. [6] Therefore, the "unification" of a 13 year old with his "family" in Jaffa, while his father remains living in Ramallah, appears remote. More likely it was the last minute rescue of a Shin-Bet child prodigy...

It should be noted that the Shin Bet is also notorious for its failure to find the Jewish perpetrators of numerous racist vandalism attacks against Arabs in the Palestine.  The direct patronage and leadership role of the Shin Bet in extreme right wing groups was documented in the Rabin assassination case.[5]

מאהל המחאה ת"א,  16 לפברואר - רצח, כחלק ממלחמת כנופיות, בצהרי היום על הטיילת בת"א אתמול מככב בכותרות העיתונים הבוקר. [1]  

באומה שנחטפה על ידי כנופיית שב"כ-בג"ץ, בה ריגול טוטלי על התושבים אינו אפילו עניין שבמחלוקת, משגשג הפשע המאורגן. [2]  על פי תשדורות שהודלפו על ידי ויקיליקס, שגריר ארה"ב בישראל גם הוא הביע את דאגתו לגבי התחזקות הפשע המאורגן בישראל והשתלבותו ברשויות המדינה. [3]

במקרה קודם, לאחר פיצוץ תחת מכוניתו של תובע בנובמבר 2013, בשעה שעסק בתיק פשע מאורגן, ביקש ראש הממשלה את עזרת השב"כ בחקירת הפשע המאורגן, אותו השווה ל"טרור".  על פי דיווח ב"הארץ", השב"כ דחה את הבקשה. [4]

על פי החוק בישראל, השב"כ נתון לסמכותו הישירה של ראש הממשלה.  לכן, המצב מעלה שאלות לגבי פיקוח אזרחי על השב"כ. [2]

יתרה מזאת, המצב מעלה שאלות לגבי מתן חסות על ידי השב"כ למשפחות הפשע בישראל.  לגבי חשד מעין זה, מספיק לקרוא את קורות חייו של הנרצח אתמול:

"לאלא [28 - יב] הוא פלסטיני, שלפני כ-15 שנה קיבל אזרחות ישראלית במסגרת איחוד משפחות ועבר להתגורר עם בני משפחתו ביפו. לאלא וקרוביו קבלו תעודות זהות ישראליות ונרשמו כתושבים, אך אביו נשאר בשטחים ותגורר היום ברמאללה.  כמה מבני המשפחה שמשו במשך השנים כמשת"פים." 

איחוד משפחות בין פלסטינים וישראלים ערבים, אפילו בעל ואישה, קשה מאוד בישראל.  בג"ץ דחה שתי עתירות בנושא בעשר השנים האחרונות.  [6]  

לכן, "איחוד המשפחות" של נער בן 13 עם "משפחתו" ביפו, כשאביו גר ברמאללה, נשמע בלתי סביר.  סביר יותר שהיה כאן מבצע חילוץ של ילד פלא של השב"כ.

יש לציין שהשב"כ גם נודע בכשלונו למצוא את המבצעים היהודיים של מעשי ואנדליזם רבים נגד ערבים בפלסטין.  מתן חסות, ואף הנהגת תאים ימניים קיצוניים על ידי השב"כ תועדה במקרה רצח  רבין. [5]

In the wake of the Citizens United case, critics of the ruling, which lifted prohibitions on direct campaign spending by corporations, raised the prospect of this allowing foreign nationals to influence US elections. Very serious people dismissed this trusting the our "robust" election laws would be up to the task of keeping foreign influence out of US elections. They were dead wrong.

In a first of its kind case, federal prosecutors say a Mexican businessman funnelled more than $500,000 into U.S. political races through Super PACs and various shell companies. The alleged financial scheme is the first known instance of a foreign national exploiting the Supreme Court's Citizens United decision in order to influence U.S. elections. If proven, the campaign finance scandal could reshape the public debate over the high court's landmark decision.Until now, allegations surrounding Jose Susumo Azano Matsura, the owner of multiple construction companies in Mexico, have not spread beyond local news outlets in San Diego, where he's accused of bankrolling a handful of southern California candidates. But the scandal is beginning to attract national interest as it ensnares a U.S. congressman, a Washington, D.C.-based campaign firm and the legacy of one of the most important Supreme Court decisions in a generation.

Matsura was able to evade US law by using a shell corporation in order to funnel the donations to US candidates. Pre Citizens United this would have involved finding a large number of US citizens willing to act as straw men. Now these shell games are able to be played by corporations, where determining ownership, let alone citizenship, can be a massive task.

OccupyTLV, February 14 - following is Facebook correspondence regarding the use of improvised shelters as "Affordable Public Housing".

If the Israeli authorities are trying to promote such blatantly illegal housing solutions, they have gone nuts.

Such solutions would have been rejected by social activists such as Gandhi already in the 1930s, and any IDF international disaster team , such as sent to earthquake areas.

במידה שיש ביוזמה זאת משום נתינה לדרי רחוב, זאת יוזמה ברוכה.  אבל הצגת יוזמה זאת כ"דיור בר השגה לעם" היא טועה ומטעה.

זהו אינו "דיור לעם"  כיוון שאינו עומד בתנאים הבסיסיים של החוק בישראל לגבי דיור.

יתרה מזאת, פעילים חברתיים  כמו גנדהי היו דוחים פתרון זה מחמת חוסר תשתית תברואתית בסיסית.  וראה מאמרו המקושר להלן משנת 1937. [1] 

לסבר את הקורא:

אם הייתה מתרחשת רעידת אדמה גדולה בפרו מחר, צה"ל היה בודאי שולח יחידת חירום לעזור.  יחידה זאת בודאי הייתה כוללת אנשי רפואה ותברואה.  סוכניות שונות היו בודאי בונות מחסות לניצולים, ומיד פותחות בהקמת תשתית תברואתית - כיוון שמחנות מסוג זה הם דגם מובהק למגפות - ראה את הדוגמה של האיטי ומגפות הכולרה הענקיות שפרצו שם בעקבות רעידת האדמה.  ואין לי ספק שיחידה צה"לית כזאת הייתה מוצאת מקום רב לעבודת תשתית תברואתית במאהל המחאה ת"א בכלל, ובפרט במחסה המטבח הציבורי שבניתם.  דוגמה קטנה - הייתי מציע שבימי שישי, כשאתם מביאים אוכל, תביאו כמה כפות גדולות חד פעמיות ומתנדב או מתנדבת מטעמכם יפקח על חלוקת המזון בצורה תברואתית הולמת במשך חצי שעה או שעה ראשונות לפחות.

ראה לעניין זה גם את דו"ח התברואה למאהל המחאה ת"א לשנת 2013 שהגשתי לאדריכל שרון רוטברט מבצלאל. [2]  מצב תברואה במאהל הוא חרפה.  

יש לציין לעניין תברואה גם את המחסות הבלתי חוקיים בעליל לדרי רחוב שהקימה עיריית ת"א תחת מסווה עמותת "לשובע". [3]

גל לוין הידוע בשם 'גלסקי' או 'מסיבת תה על אופניים' עובד עכשיו בחוה האקולוגית אדמאמא על אב טיפוס למחסה קשתות מקונסטרוקציית ברזל וכיסוי שמשונית - מזכיר חממה סגורה. חסכוני מאוד בברזל והכיסוי בשלט חוצות פשוט יחסית, מחכים בסבלנות לתוצאות ומי שרוצה לראות וללמוד מוזמן לעבור שם. המחסה עדיין לא עבר את מבחן עיריית תל אביב אבל לא נראה שיהיה בעייתי מצידם.

כזו פשוטה של סוכות עם שמשונית או יריעה עמידה אחרת לסגירה מסביב, ללא רצפה תקרה או קירות שאינם עומדים בדרישות העירייה. זול וקל לבנייה אבל בדרך כלל יש פרצות לחדירת גשם ורוח.

3. דום (כיפה גיאודזית)

מבנה עמיד ואסתטי מאוד, עמיד יותר לגשם בגלל הצורה העגולה, עומד בדרישות העירייה וניתן לבניייה מחומרי גלם שונים. כאן האתגר מתחלק לשלד ולכיסוי שמורכב יותר ממבנים אחרים.

קונסטרוקציה

א. דום ברזל

הקמנו עד כה שלושה דומים כאלה בקוטר שש מטר וגובה שלוש, יציב מאוד אבל יקר יחסית ודורש עבודה של איש מקצוע וכלי עבודה בברזל לכיפוף המוטות וקידוח חורים לברגים. בתהליך בדיקה של אפשרות לייצור סדרתי במחירי עלות.

2. דום פלסטיק מצינורות השקייה

חומר גלם זמין ובחינם. אספנו צינורות כאלה בשטח חקלאי והם במאהל כרגע, מחכים לאיש מקצוע שיכול לבוא להרכיב או להדריך אחרים שיבנו את הבאים. בתהליך חיפוש פתרון טכני לחיבור קל של הצלעות.

3. דום מעץ

הדום ניתן לבנייה כמעט מכל עץ חזק שניתן לחיתוך במידות הדרושות (קרשים, מקלות מטאטא סנדות ועוד), את הדום הראשון מקרשים שפירקנו ממשטחים וחתיכות פלסטיק הקמנו בעזרת גלסקי, ולבניית דומים נוספים אנו זקוקים לעוד חומרי גלם זמינים ולכלי עבודה.

4. דום ניסיוני ממוטות אוהלי קמפינג

במפגש בשישי האחרון הציע איציק קידר, אמן וממציא פטנטים תושב המאהל (בתמונה למטה), להשתמש במוטות אוהלי קמפינג רגילים ליצירת המשולשים של הדום, אז אם יש לכם כאלו בבית נשמח לקבל בהקדם לביצוע הניסוי.

כיסוי הדום

זה האתגר הרציני יותר בבניית הדום. הדרך הקונבנציונאלית היא שימוש ביריעות פי וי סי והלחמה מורכבת של הצלעות לפי מידה, יש מלחים בדרום תל אביב שעדיין לא נעזרנו בשירותיו ויש מישהו בבקעה שאולי יכול לבצע במחירים זולים משמעותית.

בדומים הקיימים לקחנו שלטי חוצות ומתחנו עם אזיקונים, יצא סביר אבל כיסוי מולחם יראה טוב יותר ומוגן יותר מהגשם והקור.

בידוד (לכל סוגי המחסות)

בדומים הקיימים עדיין לא הגענו לשלב הבידוד, לשם כך נצטרך כל חומר זמין אפשרי, ספוגים קלקר שטיחים עבים וכו

בקיצור הזמן קצר המלאכה מרובה והחורף יחזור מתישהו בגדול. אז אם יש משהו בו אתם יכולים לעזור (ידע וזמן, הדרכה, כלי עבודה וחומרי גלם) עדכנו אותנו וגם אם לא שתפו בתקווה שיגיע לאנשים הנכונים שיכולים לעזור או צריכים עזרה.
