The weapons have later turned up in Mexican police raids and been linked to the deaths of US Border Patrol agents.Kenneth Melson has been a central figure in corruption of the justice system under the Bush administration.

- Mr Melson (in collusion with FBI Assistant Director for Criminal Investigations Kenneth Kaiser) refused to enforce the law in view of overwhelming evidence of racketeering in the California courts by judges and financial institutions (Countrywide and Bank of America).
- In response to Congressional Inquiries by Senator Dianne Feinstein and Congresswoman Diane Watson on the matter, Melson and Kaiser provided written responses, which were alleged as fraud by US Department of Justice on the US Congress.
- Then US Department of Justice Inspector General Glenn Fine refused to investigate complaints regarding the alleged fraud by Melson and Kaiser on the US Congress, even after Congressional Inquiry by Senator Feinstein.
- Complaint, which was filed in May 2009 in the US District Court, Washington DC, “To Compel US Officer to Perform His Duty”, naming Melson and Kaiser among the defendants, was subjected to simulated litigation by US Judge Richard Leon and Clerk of the Court Nancy Mayer Whittington. [[iii]]

- In May 2011 media reported that President Obama was seeking extension of FBI Director Mueller’s tenure beyond its 10-year term, expiring September 2011, pursuant to US law, born of the bureau’s history under J Edgar Hoover.
- The June 2011 the Washington Post reported FBI investigation of “Chicagoans who crossed paths with Obama when he was a young state senator and some who have been active in labor unions that supported his political rise.”

"Samuels played a key part in one of the biggest frauds in history against homeowners, against shareholders, and against the US Treasury," says Zernik, "Widespread bribing of state and US judges by Countrywide and Bank of America must be a serious concern." [[xvi],[xvii]] Regardless, Samuels serves as President of Bet Tzedek, and on the board of Los Angeles Jewish institutions.
- David Pasternak is a central figure in corruption of the Los Angeles courts in real estate matters. Complaint pertaining to racketeering by Pasternak and the Los Angeles Superior Court has recently been posted by the International Criminal Bar. [[xviii]] Regardless, Pasternak as well served as President of Bet Tzedek and member of its board.

Corruption of the courts in the United States has reached the level of a constitutional crisis, the like of which has not been seen since the Civil War. The People are deprived of life, liberty, and property with no due process of law. The United States Congress should perform its duties.

Los Angeles, July 2 – request was filed with the US Congress for impeachment of US Judge George A O’Tool and Clerk Sarah Allison Thornton, both of the US District Court, District of Massachusetts. [[i]] The request was forwarded to Congressman Bachus, Chair of the House Rules Committee, Senator Leahy, Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and Congressman Smith, Chair of the House Judiciary Committee.
The request pertained to conduct of Judge O’Tool and Clerk Thornton in litigation of McGarry v Geriatric Facilities of Cape Code, Inc et al (1:10-cv-11343). Laura McGarry, a disabled nurse, filed complaint pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, in effort to protect her rights. Dr Zernik provided the US Congress with evidence that Judge O’Tool, Clerk Thornton, attorneys for defendant (Jackson Lewis, LLP), and others subjected Ms McGarry to simulated litigation. The court published online records, which the court itself deemed void, but Ms McGarry was lead to believe were valid court minutes, orders, and authentication records. [[ii]]
The request alleged that conduct of US Judge O’Tool and Clerk Thornton amounted to various violations of the US law, including, but not limited to: Denial of Access to the Courts; Deprivation of Rights under the Color of Law; Adulteration of court records; Fraud on the court, and/or Racketeering.
The conduct, documented in the request for impeachment of O’Tool and Thornton, has also been documented in other US courts from coast to coast. [[iii]] It is enabled through large-scale fraud in PACER and CM/ECF, the electronic record systems of the US courts. [[iv]] The beneficiaries are financial institutions, large corporations, and government officials, while individuals are deprived of their rights.
Accordingly, Dr Zernik has repeatedly asked that the US Congress initiate corrective actions to safeguard the integrity of the electronic records of the US courts.
Dr Zernik claims that corruption of the US courts is a central cause of the current financial crisis, which is often overlooked. “It undermines any prospect of effective banking regulation,” he says.
