Last nigh Israel Police decided to prevent a small lawful demontration against the Gaza massacre.
Demonstrators were ordered to disperse, and when they refused, police employed brutality.
Walla legal affairs reporter Gali Ginat was covering the event. A plain clothed poilceman approaced her and asked her to stop recording and leave the place. Ginat did not respond. Then, the policeman started pushing her, and eventually arrested her for "attacking a policeman".
Police used force to take her recording devise, while fully knowing that she was a reporter. She was interrogated and released after 5 hours "under restrictive stipulations".
Police comments on this news item was requested but not yet received.

גינת הגיעה בשעה 20.00 לאזור הכיכר שם כבר שהו מאות בודדות של מפגינים. זמן קצר לאחר מכן, שוטרי יס"מ של מחוז מרכז תל אביב בפיקודו של ניצב בנצי סאו החלו בפיזור מאסיבי של ההפגנה כשהם דוחפים את המפגינים לרחוב תרס"ט הסמוך. לדברי גינת, חמישה שוטרים החזיקו באחת המפגינות בחוזקה, תפסו אותה מהידיים והרגליים בעוד היא צורחת מכאבים ואינה מראה התנגדות.

גינת צילמה במכשירה הנייד את האירוע, כאשר בשלב מסוים התקרב אליה שוטר בלבוש אזרחי וביקש ממנה לעזוב את המקום ולהפסיק לצלם. גינת לא השיבה וכפי שניתן לראות בסרטון, הוא בתגובה החל לדחוף אותה בגופו. לאחר חילופי דברים, עצר אותה השוטר בחשד ל"תקיפת שוטר".

לאחר מכן החרימו לה השוטרים את הנייד, סירבו להחזירו, ומחקו משם קבצים. לדברי גינת, כחמישה שוטרים נאבקו על מנת לקחת לה את המכשיר מהידיים, בעת שהם ידעו שמדובר בכתבת שלא השתתפה בהפגנה אלא סיקרה אותה. גינת נלקחה לחקירה ושוחררה בתנאים מגבילים לאחר 5 שעות.

טרם התקבלה תגובת המשטרה לדברים.

A little Palestinian boy has won Twitter users’ hearts as he posed in his garbage bag-turned flak jacket and a helmet reading TV. The boy told a Swedish reporter, who took the shot that got nearly 9k retweets, that one day he will be a journalist too.

Yazan Hilliss is only 6 years old, but he probably has more to tell about the war in Gaza than any of the journalists working there. And as he told a Swedish radio journalist Johan-Matthias Sommarström this is what he is going to do when he grows up.
As Sommarström tells, the boy approached him outside his hotel and said: "I am a journalist. I am reporting on what is happening here, this is my flak jacket.”
Wearing an old black garbage bag which he tied around the belly and chest, Yazan had to borrow Sommarström’s helmet reading TV to complete his “reporter look”.
“I'm wearing a helmet and journalist clothing. I want to be a journalist when I grow up, I'll take pictures,” Yazan told Sommarström.
This is when the Swedish reporter took a picture that in just few days received close to 8,500 retweets on Twitter, on the moment of this publication. Nearly 4,500 people added the photo to their favorites.
“For a moment he shone with pride. His friends were laughing happily and dancing around him. He got a little embarrassed and then I took the picture,” Sommarström told Swedish Radio.
That day, July 31, they talked more, and Yazan shared his story.
“Yesterday and the day before I saw the rockets hit the port,” Sommarström quoted Yazan in his story published on Sveriges Radio website.

Arab-Israeli family went on vacation to the Sea of Galilee. When they arrived, 30-40 Jews attacked them, yelling "Death to the Arabs". Israel Police arrived, arrested the Arab family. The mob was not held accountable. None of the other people present made any attempt to help the Arabs.
