OccupyTLV, Jan 21 - notice and warning letter was filed with Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Hulady, regarding serious Human Rights violations and criminal negligence by the Municipality in the Occupy Tel Aviv camp.

The 2013 cumulative health report for the Occupy Tel-Aviv camp was attached.

The letter says: [1]
As noted in the health report, recent initiatives by the Municipality included:
* Disconnecting potable water source, and connecting non-potable water source for drinking, cooking and washing.
* Building substandard toilet and water source with no adequate sewage drainage, creating puddles of standing sewage water, following the demolition of a standard toilet structure.
* Building two homeless shelters that fail to meet any legal or reasonable standard.

The common theme in these recent initiatives by the Municipality is deliberate disregard of the law of the State of Israel and Human Rights in International Law.

I request immediate corrective actions by the Municipality in this regard.
Failure to correct such matters, even after receiving instant notice and warning, should be deemed criminal negligence.

The cumulative 2013 health data shows one mortality and unreasonable morbidity and hospitalizations in the camp.

Separately, criminal complaint for fraud and extortion was recently filed with the Israel Police against Ron Hulday and others, relative to their conduct in the Occupy Tel Aviv camp. [2]

Conduct of the Tel Aviv Municipality in the camp is inconsistent with the image, cultivated by MR Hulday, of Tel Aviv as a friendly, intentional, civilized city.

מאהל המחאה ת"א, 21 לינואר - הודעה והתרעה הוגשו לראש עיריית ת"א רון חולדאי, לגבי עבירות חמורות על זכויות האדם ורשלנות פלילית על ידי העיריה במאהל המחאה.

למכתב ההתרעה צורף דו"ח נתוני בריאות לגבי מאהל המחאה ת"א לשנת 2013.

המכתב אומר:

כמצויין בדו"ח הבריאות, יוזמות אחרונות של העיריה כוללות:
ניתוק מקור מי שתייה. ואספקת מי השקייה לשתייה, בישול ורחצה.
הקמת שוקת ושירותים בלתי תקינים ללא ניקוז מתאים לביוב, ויצירת שלוליות של מי ביוב עומדים, לאחר הריסת מבנה שירותים תקני.
הקמת שני מחסות לדרי רחוב שאינם עומדים בכל תקן חוקי או הגיוני.
המשותף ליוזמות אחרונות אלה של העיריה הוא התעלמות מכוונת מחוקי מדינת ישראל ומזכויות האדם הבסיסיות בחוק הבינלאומי.

אבקש פעולה מתקנת מיידית של העיריה בנידון.

אי תיקון כשלים אלה, לאחר קבלת הודעה והתרעה זאת, מן הראוי שייחשב לרשלנות פלילית.

נתוני הבריאות לשנת 2013 מראים תמותה ותחלואה בלתי סבירים במאהל המחאה.
תלונה קודמת הוגשה נגד מר חולדאי במשטרת ישראל על הונאה וסחטנות באיומים לגבי התנהלות העיריה במאהל המחאה.

התנהלותה של עיריית ת"א במאהל המחאה אינה עומדת בקנה אחד עם התדמית אותה מנסה מר חולדאי לטפח של ת"א כעיר ידידותית, בינלאומית, וחברה מתוקנת.
