Conditions in the US continue to deteriorate. Armed federal forces had to withdraw from their siege on the Nevada Bundy ranch, after armed civil militias appeared to protect the rancher. The crisis continues for about two months now, with the armed militias so far on the upper hand! Never happened in US history. jz
Armed militiamen, some openly brandishing semi-automatic rifles, have been posted outside the Bunkersville ranch of Cliven Bundy for weeks. "The community wants them to go," Rep. Steven Horsford, a freshman Democrat, said in an interview. As for Bundy, Horsford said he would leave that to the legal system. "But it's time for him to ask these militia groups to leave. Because his neighbors don't want them there."
