One point is clear: The ongoing abuse, sustained by the People of the United States by the US banks and the US government, would not have survived in Israel for a week.  In Israel, there is general draft, not a mercenary army, and there is no way that the military could be used against the People.

The recently submitted, Human Rights Alert (NGO) report on the state of Israel, was probably a first - a Human Rights report focusing on integrity, or lack thereof, in the electronic record systems of the courts.  It documented that over the past decade, the courts in Israel, with help from large US corporations - IBM and EDS - have implemented fraudulent electronic record systems, mimicking the large-scale fraud in the state and federal courts in the United States, which is essential in enabling the current socio-economic crisis in the United States. 

The 2010 Human Rights Alert (NGO) report on the United States was incorporated into the UPR staff report, with a note referring to "corruption of the courts and the legal profession and discrimination by law enforcement in California".

Anyway, Newt Gingrich is now claiming that republicans never meet with dictators (especially the Russian ones!) or the bad guys (nor do they shake hands, kiss, bow, or look them in the eye to see their soul!). Uh huh.

Every time I see this photo of Rummy shaking hands with Saddam, all I can hear is him saying to Saddam, “Man, am I glad to meet you! I can’t wait to start selling you arms and helping you any way I can! So nice to meet ya Saddam!”.

Frank La Rue, the UN’s special rapporteur for the protection of free expression, and Maina Kiai, the organization’s special rapporteur for freedom of peaceful assembly, will present their reports at this week’s meeting, the twentieth edition of the annual conference. CANBERRA (Reuters) - WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange said on Friday that he was ready for a life in Ecuador and said the country had been "quite supportive" of his bid for asylum.
