13-11-17 Political prisoner Roger Shuler - UPDATE

Roger Shuler, a renowned blogger, who recorded for years the corruption of the political system in Alabama in general, and the justice system in particular, was beaten and arrested on October 23, 2013 by Sheriff Deputies.

Roger Shuler is now held with no option for release on bond. (see listing below from Sheriff Chris Curry's site). Previously, he was listed as eligible for release on bond of $1,000. His wife confirmed yesterday that he is no longer eligible for release on bond.

It also appears that his wife is intimidated by the Sheriff as well.

Roger Shuler is most likely going to be held for a long time under False Imprisonment, like Richard Fine,

Retaliation against whistleblowers is a leading sign of collapse of Civil Society.

Bernie Sanders said on Friday that it is essential to have someone in the 2016 presidential campaign willing to take on Wall Street, address the collapse of the middle class, tackle the spread of poverty and fiercely oppose cuts to Social Security and Medicare. Addressing global warming also needs to be a top priority, not an afterthought, Sanders said.
