The real question, which keeps me pondering for a while, is how to put all of this in historic perspective.
There were long periods, during which the US Constitution was not upheld, and was kept more or less as "aspirational". However, during most of the history of the United States, there was no blatant attack on the Constitution by the three branches of government combined, as we see it today.
The US Congress, the President of the United States, and the Supreme Court, combined, have joined forces in a direct attack on the US Constitution, which is historically unprecedented.
It all looks like some bizarre "exit strategy" of the ruling class, towards a future of the United States, which is scary beyond imagination.
