Jerusalem and Los Angeles, July 16 - "The Worldwide Association of IS Professionals, dedicated to the audit, control, and security of information systems, attempted legal extortion through deceptive, simulated electronic legal communications, in order to cover up the large-scale fraud in the electronic record systems of the State of Israel," says Joseph Zernik, PhD, of Human Rights Alert (NGO).
The episode is the latest in a list of inadequate responses by government and non-government agencies in Israel, when confronted with indisputable evidence of large-scale, high-level fraud in the electronic record systems of the State of Israel. [1] Notable exceptions include computing/cryptology experts and some legal scholars. [List of agencies and responses are provided below]
The matter at hand pertains to alleged fraud in the 2012 Audit Letter for ComSign, signed by Accountant Erez Shefler CPA (Isr), which is part of conduct that undermines the integrity of all legal records of the State of Israel.
When asked to provide opinion on this matter, Mr Doron Ronen, CPA (Isr), President of ISACA - Israel Chapter, provided responses, which were contrary to the mission statement of ISACA. Such responses were followed by credible but unlawful legal threats from an unknown ISACA-related entity in the United States.
Both the communications from Mr RONEN and from his US colleagues were transmitted in a manner that should be deemed deceptive. [2]When asked to provide the same communications in a manner that is valid, secure, and controlled by ISACA's standards, ISACA - Israel Chapter, and its US colleagues failed to this date. [2]The episode should be considered of significance for several reasons:
- The conduct of ISACA - Israel Brach, and its US colleagues highlights the pervasiveness of deception in legal electronic records, even by the "Worldwide association of IS professionals dedicated to the audit, control, and security of information systems;"
- The case highlights the potential emergence of Corpus Separatum Jerusalem as a Free Speech haven in a world, where abuse of Human Rights and leakers, in particular, is the norm, not the exception.
