OccupyTLV. January 22 - as has been the case every Wednesday for about a year, last Wednesday afternoon activists met at the lobby of the State Ombudsman's Tel-Aviv office for cake and soft drinks... still waiting for the Ombudsman to investigate organized crime in the Tax Authority and high offices of the Israeli government, leading directly to PM Netanyahu. [1]
Last week's meeting was the first after the issuance of the absurd "Protective Decree" by the State Ombudsman for Tax Authority whistle-blower Rafi Rotem. [2] In the Decree, the State Ombudsman stated:
"Rotem assembled a group that acted in an unproductive manner"... "and it appears to me that even the group of journalists who supported Rotem had reservations about this group". A unique judicial decision, which requires journalists opinions to support its conclusions...
Last Wednesday, out of the blue, Tel-Aviv Police undercover intelligence officer Israel, who is assigned for a number of years to spying on the social protest movement appeared in the State Ombudsman's office, accompanied by uniformed police, and started photographing the activists sitting in the lobby for no apparent reason.
Such conduct should be deemed harassment and an attempt to threaten citizens engaged in a lawful assembly.
In April 2014 undercover intelligence officer Israel was recorded in a telephone conversation with a policeman in the OccupyTLV area during a serious violence incident. The incident involved a former SWAT team officer, doubling as a convicted felon on serious violence crimes, against whom the Israel Police refused to take action after a series of violent incidents in the OccupyTLV camp. [2]
Undercover intelligence officer Israel conduct, documented in the telephone recording, should be deemed misprision of felonies and denial of equal protection under the law.
One should also recall the series of false arrests of Rafi Rotem by the Tel-Aviv Police. [3]
Also should be recalled the series of bogus criminal prosecutions by Tel-Aviv Police (in Israel police prosecutes!) against social protests activists over the past 2 years...
And also should be recalled the conduct of the Tel-Aviv Police in view of violence by right-wing thugs against lawful demonstrators during the Gaza massacre last summer...
IN SUM:
Israel Police engages in the harassment and intimidation of protest activists on a routine basis, and the Tel-Aviv Police leads the way... We are lucky we aren't Arabs, otherwise the is some likelihood we would have already been shot...

מאהל המחאה ת"א, 22 לינואר -כמידי שבוע זה כשנה, התכנסו ביום ד' שעבר פעילים בלובי של משרד מבקר המדינה בת"א לעוגה ושתייה קלה... עדיין מחכים שהמבקר יבדוק את התלונות על הפשיעה המאורגנת ברשות המסים ובחלונות הגבוהים של ממשלת ישראל, המגיעה על פי הראיות הישר לדלתו של ביבי. [1]
הפגישה בשבוע שעבר הייתה הראשונה לאחר "צו ההגנה" המופרך שהוציא מבקר המדינה לרותם, [2] בו קבע שרותם "קיבץ סביבו" (רותם אינו קבצן, ולא קיבץ אף אחד) "קבוצה שפעלה באופן בלתי מועיל" ... "ונראה בעיני כי אף קבוצת העיתונאים שתמכו ברותם, הסתייגה ממנה" (החלטה שיפוטית מפליאה, הנדרשת לחוות דעת התקשורת לאשש את מסקנותיה...)
במפתיע, הופיע במקום קצין מודיעין ישראל (באזרחית), העוסק מזה מספר שנים בריגול אחר אנשי המחאה החברתית, מלווה בשוטרים במדים, וישראל החל לצלם את הפעילים שישבו בלובי ללא כל סיבה נראית לעין.
יש לראות בהתנהלות זאת הטרדה וניסיון לאיום על אזרחים העוסקים בהתנהלות שהיא התכנסות חוקית.
באפריל 2014, גם הוקלטה שיחת טלפון של קצין מודיעין ישראל עם שוטר בשטח מאהל המחאה ת"א בעת אירוע אלימות חמור, בו היה מעורב אוריאל בנבנישתי - איש ימ"מ לשעבר, ועבריין מורשע על עבירות אלימות חמורות, שמשטרת ישראל סירבה לפעול נגדו לאחר סדרת אירועי אלימות נגד אנשי מאהל המחאה. [2]
יש לראות בהתנהלותו של ישראל, המתועדת בשיחת טלפון זאת, העלמת עין מדבר עבירה ומניעת הגנה שווה של החוק.
וכמובן שיש לזכור את סדרת מעצרי השווא של רפי רותם על ידי משטרת ת"א. [3]
כן יש לזכור את סדרת התביעות המופרכות של משטרת ישראל, מחוז ת"א, נגד פעילי מחאה בשנתיים האחרונות...
ואין לשכוח את התנהלות משטרת ישראל, מחוז ת"א, לנוכח אלימות נגד מפגינים כחוק בימי הטבח בעזה בקיץ האחרון...
בקיצור: משטרת ישראל עוסקת באופן שיטתי בהטרדת והרתעת אנשי מחאה, ומחוז ת"א מוביל... מזל שאנחנו לא ערבים, אחרת כבר היו אולי יורים...
