During the assassination, one of the bodyguards was heard yelling "Blank, Blank, Blank"... Later, during the investigation, it turned out that it was the routine (as it is in the military) during no live fire drills.
Why did anybody yell that?
Was it precoordinated?
Why did the bodyguards allow a gun carrying person to hang around and talk with them, waiting to shoot the prime minister point blanks, in an area that is supposed to be "sterile" by the regulations?
Why the assassin never shot at? The routine (according to the Shin Bet head) was that the assassin was suppposed to be dead within 1.8 sec. But in this case, none of the 7 bodyguards shot him, and he remains live and well to this date...
Twenty years later, the role of the Shin Bet in the assassination remains unclear...

* מי צעק "סרק, סרק, סרק" בזמן ההתנקשות? ולמה? האם זה היה מתואם מראש?
* מדוע נתנו שומרי ראשו של רבין לעמיר לחכות לו ליד הלימוזינה, כשכל האזור היה אמור להיות סטרילי על פי נוהלי הקבע?
* מדוע לא ירו שומרי ראשו של רבין בעמיר, שהיה אמור להיות מת תוך 1,8 שניות מרגע ששלף את האקדח על פי נוהלי הקבע?
וכו וכו... 20 שנה חלפו, ושאלות בסיסיות נותרו ללא מענה...
אבל בשנה האחרונה קיבלנו תשובות על שאלות נילוות לחקירת הרצח:
* אפרים ברכה, שעמד בראש "צוות החקירה המיוחד" של משטרת ישראל (אך ללא כתב מינוי כדין) התאבד לאחר חשיפת פרשיות שחיתות שונות בהן היה מעורב.
* רות דוד, פרקליטת מחוז ת"א לשעבר, שהייתה הנציגה הבכירה של היועמ"ש לחקירת רצח רבין, עומדת לדין על שחיתות חסרת תקדים...
