===13-08-14 Deputy Presiding Judge of the Tel Aviv District Court announces her early retirement, why not criminally prosecuted???===

Israeli media today report that Judge AlSheich announced her early retirement.  Judge AlSheich was caught adulterating her own court's protocols in order to harm an attorney, who appeared before her in a corporate "haircut" case.  Based on media reports today [1], one could think that a respectable judge is retiring.  But her conduct was seriously criminal - undermining the justice system from its foundation.  Chief Justice of the Israeli Supreme Court Asher Grunis refused to take any disciplinary steps against her...  The Israeli Bar Association, it should be noted for its credit, issued a statement, "better late than never"...
* Why were no disciplinary or criminal measures taken against Judge AlSheich?
* And why were no criminal steps taken against District Judge Hilah Cohen, who was caught fibulating protocols of her court? Instead she was awarded increased benefits for the rest of her life...

Because adulteration of court records has become an epidemic in the Israeli courts over the past decade.  The Human Rights Alert (NGO) report (2013) documents that the epidemic hit also the Israeli Supreme Court.  The enhanced lifetime benefits to Judge Cohen can be viewed as silencing fees in this context...

Judge AlSheich ruled in some of the largest corporate "haircuts" in the history of the State of Israel, and with it - harmed the savings of vast number of Israelis.

Corruption of the justice system is central to socio-economic conditions in Israel today, from the family courts, through the district courts, to the supreme court. although the public at large is insufficiently aware of that.

To a large degree, media are responsible for such conditions.  Media are probably scared by the courts, and today's media reports regarding the retirement of Judge AlSheich provide excellent documentation of such conditions...
