13-12-30 ISRAEL: Police Chief - social protest is likely to increase with growing unemplooyement

Arrest of Israeli Social Protest leader Daphni Leef in late 2011.

Economists expect the Israeli economy to see bankruptcies and layoffs in 2014, with further impact of the global economic crisis on the local economy.  With it, Police Chief Danino warns, social protest is already growing.
