2015-01-25 Cold War 2.0 - the propaganda war is heating up!

This is how "perception management" works. Also what the neocons like to call "making our own reality." Naturally RT may have its own bias as everyone and everything has and it may be wrong also from time to time but it's been largely right about these illegal and counterproductive US wars that were based on lies.
I just came from watching some Sunday morning "Face the Nation" type talk while on the exercise bike at the YMCA: John McCain was explaining to Schieffer who nodded in agreement as to why it's important Benjamin Netanyahu is allowed to address and sway the US Congress into stopping negotiations with Iran (obviously so McCain and neocons can "bomb, bomb, bomb" Iran as he liked to sing a few years ago). No wonder we are in such a deep, deep Orwellian hole.
And people think we have a free press here?! Mainstream press in the U.S. is only open to those who support US wars and covert regime changes.

Propaganda. At its best – a wonderful German pop group of the 1980s who had their biggest hit with a track named ‘Duel’. At its worst – the comments of the new BBG chief Andrew Lack, which put RT in the same category of ‘challenges’ as ISIS.
