Haaretz cites Lt Eitan from an interview in Channel 2 news:
"I said that the moment we identify anybody we shoot"... "I knew that even if we kill Hadar, with all the pain, it is better that way."
Both the family of the late Lt Hadar Goldin and Lt Eitan belong to what used to be called the "Religious-National" streatm in Israeli politics.
But the "Hannibal Protocol" stands in direct violation of Jewish commandments.
It appears that in recent years this stream has changed it priorities, and should be now considered "Nationalistic-Relegious"
